How Important is a Positive Attitude to Success?

That's the question Jeffrey Gitomer asks in his Little Gold Book of Yes! Attitude. He goes on to tell readers that attitude is not only everything but the foundation for everything.


When trying to succeed in business it's imperative that we have a positive attitude. If we think negative thoughts the universe has a way of making these predictions come true---- sooner or later. The same rings true when we think good thoughts. We can't control others, that's true. We can't force anyone to buy our products or services but we have to continuously have a positive attitude and believe we are going to be successful.


I know writers who have great ideas but will never see these ideas in print because they are afraid to approach an editor for fear of being rejected. Others submit queries and then worry editor won't like their idea. So what? When I submit a query my attitude is always the same. I feel confident the idea will sell but if it does not it's the editors loss! I don't bemoan rejections. I simply keep moving forward.


And you can too. No matter what business you run, make sure you keep a Yes! attitude all the time and you'll be successful.
